Winner of the 2016 Lieutenant Governor’s Award, this distinct red blends the royal varietals of Bordeaux. The wine is big and robust, with complex flavours and aromas of spice, floral, black currant, cherry, anise, hints of cocoa and vanilla. This full-bodied red has firm yet soft tannins with a smooth and creamy finish with long lingering notes of tobacco, vanilla, and berry fruits.

How are Canadian Icewines made?
Whistler Icewines and Wasaridge Icewines at our Coastal Delight Fine Food and Drinks store are delicious fruity sweet Canadian icewines made from frozen grapes handpicked sometime between late November to mid January in freezing Canadian winters when temperatures fell between -10ºC and -13ºC.
The grapes are then cleaned and cold pressed. The juice are settled in stainless steel tanks, cool fermented for about 3 months, and then placed outdoors to stop fermentation and to complete natural cold stabilization before bottled.
